CoreCtrl
Linux alternative to MSI Afterburner
About
CoreCtrl is the closest Linux gets to an AMD Adrenalin control panel: GPU clock and power limit control, custom fan curves, performance states, CPU governor switching, and per-application profiles that apply settings when a game launches. For AMD users used to Afterburner or Adrenalin tuning on Windows, this is the establishment option.
Full control requires unlocking amdgpu features with a kernel boot parameter (amdgpu.ppfeaturemask), which the docs walk through — without it, options appear grayed out. Very new GPU generations sometimes wait on kernel support before every knob works. NVIDIA control is limited (their tooling differs); LACT is a newer alternative in the same space that’s been iterating fast.
