About

LACT (Linux AMDGPU Controller) is the newer, fast-moving answer to GPU tuning: clocks, voltage offsets, power limits, custom fan curves, and detailed sensor readouts in a clean GTK interface, with a daemon applying settings at boot. On recent AMD cards (RDNA 2/3/4) it often exposes controls sooner than CoreCtrl, and undervolting support has matured nicely. Experimental NVIDIA and Intel support exists too.

Like all GPU tuning on Linux, deeper controls need the amdgpu.ppfeaturemask kernel parameter unlocked, and undervolting stability is your experiment to run — crashes from aggressive offsets look like driver bugs but aren’t. It’s younger than CoreCtrl with a smaller track record, though development pace is currently in its favor.
