Mission Center
Linux alternative to Windows Task Manager
About
Mission Center deliberately mirrors the Windows 10/11 Task Manager: live graphs for CPU (per-core), memory, disks, network, and GPU — including per-process GPU usage, which Linux monitors historically fumbled — plus an apps/processes view with grouped children. For a Windows switcher, it’s the monitoring tool that requires zero relearning, and GPU stats work on AMD and Intel, not just NVIDIA.
It’s a young project: occasional inaccuracies in exotic setups, and some Task Manager features (startup apps management, service control) aren’t its scope since Linux handles those elsewhere (systemd). Terminal fans note btop covers similar ground with zero GUI. Sensor readings depend on kernel drivers exposing them, which varies by hardware.
