Planify

Linux alternative to Microsoft To Do

Unrated from 0 reports

About

Planify brings the Todoist model native: projects, sections, labels, scheduled and recurring tasks, and board views in a genuinely beautiful GNOME-style interface. Crucially it syncs with Todoist and Nextcloud Tasks accounts, so you keep your phone workflow while getting a real desktop client Todoist never shipped for Linux. Local-only use works fine too.

It’s one developer’s passion project, so occasional sync quirks and bugs surface with new releases, and Microsoft To Do sync isn’t supported. The GTK/libadwaita design language looks slightly foreign on KDE. Power users wanting time tracking, dependencies, or GTD-style review tooling will find it intentionally simple.
